Is your child alone at home?

Home - it's where children grow and learn, the place where they find comfort, love and care. It's where they can see, touch, explore and experience the world around them, so their minds and bodies develop properly. It's also a place where children need to feel safe.

Home is a special place when you are growing up. It’s a place to explore, to have adventures and to play. The home is also the most common place for young children to be injured. Most accidents are predictable and preventable. Try to make the home environment as safe as possible before your baby arrives and again before your child starts crawling.

You must always ensure the inside of your home is safe. You must also consider hazards found in outdoor areas, particularly the driveway, front and rear gardens, pool and barbeque areas, garden sheds, play areas and cubby houses.

Your child is big enough now. Let's see how he/she reacts to the new condition without hanging on to your fingertips. But before you leave them, guide them with some necessary tips so that they can feel more confortable in the situation.

Take a look at the home safety tips for children:

Child Safety Checklist

• Never leave young children unattended for any length of time
• Keep cleaning supplies, poisons, alcohol and other toxic agents locked up and out of reach
• If you leave older children home alone, be sure they understand the importance of keeping the doors and windows locked at all times. And tell them to never answer the door for anyone other than a trusted friend or family member.
• Never allow your kids to operate the oven, stove, washing machine or other appliance without your supervision
• Never allow young children to shower or bathe unless you or another adult can assist them if needed
• Make sure a list of emergency contact numbers is clearly posted

Ask your child how he feels about staying home alone. If he seems worried or afraid, he may not be ready. But if he's keen to try, this experience can foster his sense of independence. Make use of these tips and let your child be safe and comfort at your home even lonely. Thus you can be stress-free and happy that your child has grown to be independent. Dream Home For Every Individual

Time has changed. The time has gone when people used to posses acres of land and used to "Live Life King Size".

It is the time when you have a pay millions for a small piece of land. Getting a suitable location doesn't sync with your budget always so you go for outskirts of your city and reside there with a hope that some day there will be development in your area, by the time the area gets developed you reach at the age of 50.

So getting back to the same, has the mother earth been already pre-booked by the millionaires and billionaires ? No land to build big bungalows and big mansions left so we can a huge number of people opting for apartments and flats.

Again there is a huge competition between builders. Good builders are those who do not compensate customer's needs so as to provide them apartments at less rates, good builders are those who provide fine quality homes with all amenities satisfying all the needs of their customers.

They have to keep in their minds that they are building their customer's dreams not just houses with bricks and cement. NEST group strives at providing spaces which suits all income groups. Unveil the magic of Monsoons in your dream home

It is rightly said – the best time to enjoy the beauty of Kerala is during the monsoons.  Kerala backwaters are boundaried with lush greenery and waterfalls giving a different feel to the entire place. June is a seminal month in Kerala, an intermediary that hints of the pleasures of a South Asian summer.

Living in Kerala, enjoying the true sense of nature blended with monsoon rains makes it worth for living. Build your dream home anywhere in Kerala. Nest Infratech is the real estate and infrastructure development wing of the multi-billion dollar multinational company, the Nest. The company gives shape to some of the most ambitious and luxurious living spaces across the country. No, matter where it is , we have a space for you.

Monsoon vacations and getaways are popular amongst holidaymakers for the waterfalls, the greenery, for water adventure and for some to admire the lush greenery. However, there’s more to it; the monsoons in certain destinations are considered off-season, however for enthusiasts this goes down as the best time to enjoy a pleasant and affordable stay at places where bookings are either hard to come mainly due to the demand or high prices during season time.

Since youth, I have heard the melodious sound and to this day it brings back memories of final exams, the never ending wait for summer vacations, family visits and all the other things that made summer the most important season for a child. It truly is the sound of Kerala’s summer, a redoubtable counterpart to the robin’s warble ...

After a dry summer spell that grips the nation, monsoon is a welcome change. With monsoon you will see the other side of India where nature comes alive in a landscape of cool, lush greenery. The sight of the first rains & the sweet smell of the soil makes for a soothing combination.

Many love the monsoons & simply love getting wet in the rains. Children love enjoying a game of football, or even go out cycling in the rain just to get wet and enjoying the soaking wet experience after a rather dry and humid summer patch.

Hold your loved ones in your arms and enjoy the monsoon standing in the corridors or balcony of your dream home. I bet, that would be more affectionate and auspicious in your life.

Kerala becoming a Paradise for Shoppers all over the World

Kerala's financial hub, Kochi is now home to one of India's largest malls. The Lulu Mall, which opened in Kochi, is a shopper's delight. Spanning a little over 2.5 million sq ft and built at a cost of Rs 1,600 crore, it can accommodate nearly 300 national and international brands.

The man behind what is billed as the largest mall in India, MA Yusuffali, the promoter of Abu Dhabi-based retail powerhouse EMKE Group, is a Malayali.

The Edappally Junction became a cobweb of people and vehicles as people from the city and faraway places thronged the Lulu mall premises. The latest among the swash of malls across the country is Kochi's just-opened Lulu mall that is already changing the meaning of flurry of footfalls. This place is sure huge. Shoulder to shoulder, two lakh people can stand here, but since no one stands shoulder to shoulder in a mall, about one lakh people can easily swagger and shop at one of the largest malls in India—spread over a 2.5 million sq.ft complex on 17 acres, complete with a five-star Marriott, which is under construction.

Big brands are, of course, the big lure. So is the experience. Besides the ice rink, Lulu boasts a 5D cinema hall, apart from nine screens run by PVR Cinemas, the guys who taught us to enjoy big in small spaces. The escalators are joined by travelators to take fun lovers from one point of thrill in the mall to another. Seduction lurks at every corner: Lulu Hypermarket, Lulu Celebrate, Lulu Connect and much more. The food court can hold 3,500 people, but you can burn the calories at the entertainment zone, which includes the 5,000 sq.ft ice rink and cinemas that have waterjets streaming alongside while you watch Sonakshi shake it. You can do your spin, too, at the 12-lane bowling alleys.

Yusuffali said the mall would give the people of Kerala an international shopping experience. Though this was the 105thamong the LuLu malls across the globe, this would be a separate division, as the expansion of malls to other centres in the state and later outside the state would begin from here.

Kochiites are very delighted to host this mall because we can see a large number of tourists all over the World switching on to Lulu Mall for Shopping. Celebrities and other dignitaries also put  their hands up for Lulu. Soon, Kochi will turn upto really BIG and this can make Kochi the most preferred destination for settlinmg.

HOW TO PLAN YOUR SUMMER VACATION

Its Summer Vacation out there and it's time for some Vacations....

First, we should all remember that summer should be a time for rejuvenation and renewal. Attending the Summer Camps is an high appealing high school experience, and during the break students need to spend time with their families, get reacquainted with the people who are close to them, and rest and recharge. It is a long summer. There is time.

Many families are rediscovering how to plan a summer vacation that does not break the bank, especially when finances are tight. One key to planning a budget-minded excursion is flexibility. The more a family is willing to shift vacation dates and choose destinations according to available travel deals, the less a vacation will cost. Looking for package deals and ways to spend less on a summer vacation can be time well spent. It is also possible to have a relaxing, fun-filled vacation close to home.

Finding Package Deals

A large portion of the family vacation budget is spent on airfare and lodging, but travelers can reduce those expenses significantly with a little online research.  Many offers also feature all-inclusive hotel packages that may save hundreds of dollars on meals, beverages and local activities. Vacation planners can also check with travel agents who often have the inside track on travel deals.

Taking in the Sights
Theme parks across the nation offer discounts to certain groups, so a bargain hunter would do well to check with employers, banks, local grocery stores and club affiliations to find discount theme park tickets for sale. In addition, checking each theme park's Web site is a good idea, especially when planning vacation dates -- it may be cheaper to travel, stay and play during the "shoulder season," just after the park opens for spring and summer guests.

Keeping the Vacation at Home

Many families opt to stay home during their vacation time. this option saves the time, cost and headache of traveling with young children, and can free up a family to enjoy each other and take in local sights and entertainment.

Following tips to make a real vacation out of staying home:
• Write an itinerary for each day, packed with activities
• Dress the family in appropriate vacation attire, such as beachwear
• Sight seeing at local attractions, such as historical sites and museums
• Hire a housekeeping service to clean
• Enjoy local restaurants instead of meals at home
• Take photos and videos, just as a family would on a vacation away from home with a little creative planning, even staying home can be a family vacation that creates valuable memories.

How to Plan a Last-Minute Vacation

The first step in planning a last-minute getaway is finding a great spot to vacation. When time is short, flexibility is key. Here are some tips.

• Consider "off-peak" destinations. For example, summer may be a good time to visit major cities that typically host conventions during the fall, or a resort town that is popular with tourists during the winter. Hotels want to fill empty rooms and may offer extra perks, lower rates, or package deals. During the off-season, it may also be easier to get a restaurant reservation and avoid long lines at attractions.
• If you're flying, search for flights at more than one airport. If you're willing to depart from any airport near you or arrive at any airport relatively close to your destination, you'll have more options and a better chance of snagging a lower-cost flight. Also consider flying during off-peak hours or taking non direct flights.
• Check hotel websites. Many list their rate calendars on their reservations page so you can see for yourself when rooms are available (and at what price). Even top hotels occasionally have empty rooms in-season for a night or two or have last minute cancellations--it doesn't hurt to call.
• Shop around. There's a lot more available than you think, and last-minute deals on airfares, rental cars, cruises, and hotel rooms exist. Once you've decided where to go, experiment with different travel dates (if you have some flexibility) to find the best deals.

Remember, a vacation is about relaxation--not perfection. The little planning you've had time for will help smooth the way.

ENJOY THIS VACATION AS NEVER BEFORE WITH PROPER PLANNING.....

WE KNOW COLOUR IS A PERSONAL AND IMPORTANT THING. COLOURS INSPIRE OUR EMOTIONS AND BEHAVIOR  WITH A RIGHT INTERIOR PAINT AND THESE FRESH DESIGN CONCEPT WE CAN TURN EVERYDAY  ROOMS INTO EXTRA ORDINARY SPACES..

These are some colour and decorating ideas which you can apply for your dream homes :

1.Pink for girls is no longer in trend:

We chose a soft green for this nature-inspired girls' bedroom and added pink, brown, and blue accents on the bedding, rug, and chair. The delicate flower art on the wall and graceful white bed rails give the room a pretty, whimsical look.

2.Baby Room Colors with Fairy Tale Charm

A fun, froggy border runs around this room at half-height, pulling it within a baby's  or toddler's range of vision. The soft lavender and yellow combination is warm and     welcoming, while the green accents serve to liven it up.

3.Decorating with Red

Red walls may be your first thought, but if you're wary of using such a bold color on such a large surface, these red room ideas can help you add a powerful pop of color to any room.

Add playful touches of red in unexpected places like stair risers, the interior of a bookcase or china cabinet, or the legs of a table.

Paint selected pieces of furniture red to bring a fresh element to a room.
Paint red stripes in different shades and widths on a plain wall.
 Paint your floor red.

4. Coordinate living room and dining room

For living rooms with lots of sunlight, choose light shades of neutral colors to  give the impression of a larger space and to allow for easy furniture matching. For      living rooms with little sunlight, choose warm colors (red/orange tints) or cool  colors (blue/purple tints) to give a feeling of comfort under artificial lights.

The Pink, green and blue colors are good for dining room as this place needs to be painted in refreshing colors for the family eats and entertains there. Avoid black and white or mixture of black and white in the room.

5. Clourful Kitchen that cook

The yellow is the best color for kitchen.
It's true that yellow is an energetic, eye-catching hue that can easily uplift moods and inspire, especially in the kitchen. In this casual family kitchen, yellow is only seen along the upper half of the walls and in the island light fixtures. However, the playful color scheme is undeniably the first thing noticed. The yellow, mixed with white cabinets, coffered ceilings and a soft backsplash, emits an airy feel that would make anyone feel right at home.

6.Colors for bathroom.

Blue is the favorite color recommended by the experts for bathrooms. Shades and tints of blue can be used in bathrooms. Blue has a calming effect. Since bathroom is a place to relax, softer colors are preferable for the same. Apart from blue, lighter tones of green can be used. White and off-white tiling of bathroom walls is also one of the top recommendations of the experts.

7.Colors for balcony.

Balcony is a place where we often place our house plants. Experts recommend spring and autumn colors for balcony. Shades and tints of yellow, orange, pink and purple are the top choices of colors for balcony. These colors are energetic and pleasant to eyes. Apart from these colors, one may also go for soft shades of earthy colors, which include light green, light brown and sky blue.

Try it and make your Dream homes catchy and stylish.
